Lauren Joosten is a Licensed Independent Social Worker

Lauren has been practicing as a therapist for 6 years and providing counseling in the social work field for over 12 years. Lauren utilizes an eclectic approach when providing therapy. Lauren views all clients through a trauma-informed lens, with great sensitivity and empathy. She also views all people as unique, but equal and practices through a strengths-based approach.

Her experience includes providing therapy to families, teens, young adults and adults, struggling with a wide range of difficulties.

Lauren has worked with individuals who have had the following diagnoses:  Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Schizophrenia, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder among others.
